Veritas
Training Group President Steve Mulch was raised in a
"selling household." His father was in the
insurance business and his mother ran a real estate
company, so understanding the importance of helping
people and the demands of the service industry were
daily lessons. Steve applies these lessons from his
formative years in Quincy, Illinois in his company's
sales training, sales strategies, and selling workshops.
Steve
graduated from Culver-Stockton
College in 1971 with a B.A degree and a major in
psychology. He was very active in college life, serving
as President of the Student Senate his senior year and
appearing in Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities.

After
college, he joined Packaging
Corporation of America and soon entered the sales organization,
where he progressed through the ranks and eventually became
Director of National Sales and then General Manager of the
company's flagship folding carton location in Grand Rapids,
Michigan. In 1991, Steve moved to Cincinnati to join James
River Corporation as General Manager of National Accounts
Sales for the packaging business.
He was
then promoted to Vice President - General Manager of the companies
Eastern Group and then became VPGM of the Specialty Packaging
Group, which encompassed a coast to coast series of manufacturing
locations and sales teams. While at James River, Steve lead
a team that was awarded the coveted Gold Key Award, for the
development of the "Total Value Model", a comprehensive
system used with major accounts to establish the dollar and
cents value of a supplier-vendor relationship.
When James
River merged with Fort Howard, the headquarters was moved
to Chicago and Steve elected to stay in Cincinnati and join
Multi-Color
Corporation as a member of a new turnaround management
team. The group was very successful in bringing Multicolor
to the forefront of the nations label manufacturers and is
one of Ohio's best success stories over the last four years.
After
over 25 years of corporate success, Steve decided to parlay
his years sales and management experience into a venture of
his own. He founded Veritas Training Group and became affiliated
with D.E.I.
Management Group, one of the nation's leading sales training
companies.
